Over the years A.L. Sims & Son Ltd. has continuously expanded its fleet to encompass a large mix of well-maintained equipment and heavy machinery to meet project needs.  All of our equipment is tested and serviced regularly for optimum performance, ready to be sent out to any job location.  Our rental fleet covers:

At A.L. Sims & Son Ltd. we are dedicated to providing quality work in all areas of repair, rebuild or remanufacture of machinery. Our motivated "Otway Works" shop team consists of highly trained and experienced heavy duty mechanics and welders. We offer complete mechanical services, welding and fabricating for used, refurbished, rebuilt and remanufactured equipment of all types. All machinery is remanufactured to OEM standards and quality control tested.

We also offer a complete mobile mechanic service for customers requiring service and maintenance on the job site. This is ideal for machines that require diagnostics or repairs in the field, ensuring minimum amount of down-time for equipment in remote locations.

Roktek Services, incorporated in 1997 and amalgamated as a division of A.L. Sims & Son Ltd. in 2014, offers expertise in all aspects of mining, tunnelling and construction, as well as drilling and blasting projects, with a meticulous focus on safety.

 

 

 

Facility

 Headquartered in Prince George, B.C. since 1972, A.L. Sims & Son Ltd. is operating out of its original, 10-acre location featuring  10,000 +  square foot shop plus offices, nine work bays, one welding bay and one steam bay as well as two 10 ton overhead cranes.

All our equipment is conveniently located on our centrally located property, ready to be shipped to any project.
